1. GROUP PRESENTATIONS & TRAININGS – to raise awareness about problem gambling and associative behavioral disorders, their consequences, and various prevention and treatment strategies.

2. POLICY DEVELOPMENT – to establish guidelines regarding gambling at school, on campus or in the workplace. The New York Council works with administrators, employment assistance personnel and other staff to help ensure a healthier educational and working environment by reducing the harm associated with problem gambling and other addictive behaviors.
