
The information in this curriculum is delivered using a variety of teaching methods (i.e. lectures, reading, website activities, reaction paper, quizzes and discussion). Students need to complete all 60 hours of study in order to receive a certificate of completion.

The New York Council on Problem Gambling 60-Hour Problem Gambling Certification Training
The main effort of this course is to provide the structured knowledge required to treat problem gamblers and their families and for accessing and reasoning with it in a principled way.
The Core Curriculum is required of any applicant for certification. The following areas are included:

• Co Morbidity and Problem Gambling
• Specialized Treatment Planning
• Clinical Treatment with the Problem Gambler
